WHAT IS BUDGET / BUDGET KYA HOTA HAI?

            WHAT IS BUDGET? 

It is annual financial statement of stimated reciepts and expenditure of govt for the fourth coming financial year.

 ARTICLE 112 : ) The President shall in respect of every financial year cause to be laid before both the Houses of Parliament a statement of the estimated receipts and expenditure of the Government of India for that year, in this Part of this Constitution referred to as the "annual financial statement".

  BUDGET CONTAIN:

1. Revenue and capital reciept .

2. ways and means to raise the revenue .

3. estimates of expenditure.

4. economic and financial policies of the coming year i.e, taxation proposal , spending programes ,introduction of new schemes etc

The budget division of the dept of economic affairs in the financial ministry is the nodal body responsible for preparing budget.

> Merger of railway budget with the genernal budget.

> Doing away with plan and non -plan expenditure.

OBJECTIVES OF GOVY BUDGET:

> Reallocation of resources - helps to distrubute resources.

>Reducing inequaties in wealth and income[economic equality by imposing taxes]

> Contributing to country s economics growth .

> Bringing economic stability.

> Managing public entrprices .

>Reducing regional differences / inqualities /by promoting the installation of producation units.
